Description
The Toro Z Master® 4000 HD Series is a line of commercial-grade, heavy-duty zero-turn mowers designed for professional landscapers and owners of large properties (5+ acres). Known as a “durability king,” this series combines high-speed mowing (up to 12 mph) with rugged construction to handle demanding, all-day work.
Key Features and Description
  • Cutting Deck: Features a 7-Gauge High-Strength Steel TURBO FORCE® cutting deck, available in 52-inch and 60-inch options (with 48″ and 72″ also available in the broader 4000 series line). The deck includes a reinforced “bullnose” bumper for extra protection against impacts.
  • Engine Power: Equipped with heavy-duty, commercial-grade engines, typically a 25.5 HP Kawasaki® FX801V or 31 HP Kawasaki FX921V, providing superior power in thick grass.
  • Transmission & Speed: Uses Hydro-Gear® ZT-4400 or ZT-5400 integrated transmissions for high-torque performance on slopes. It boasts speeds up to 12 mph (19.3 km/h), allowing operators to clear large acreage fast.
  • Comfort & Operator Interface:
    • MyRIDE® Suspension System: Many models feature the MyRIDE system, which isolates the operator platform to reduce bumps and vibrations.
    • Deluxe Seat: Models often come with a high-back, hand-crafted deluxe suspension seat with armrests.
    • Convenience: Includes a step-through front end for easy mounting/dismounting, an LED headlight for low-light conditions, USB ports for charging, and a phone/cup holder.
  • Durability: The machine is built with an I-beam front end, tubular chassis, and rubber discharge chute to withstand harsh conditions. It features 26-inch Voodoo Trac™ drive tires for aggressive traction.
  • Maintenance: Features greaseless aluminum spindles and easily accessible components, including a flip-up floor pan.
